One appliance from Penzance Fire Station attended a call to a small fire in some woods behind a property in Alverton Road. On arrival crews found a disused tent to be well alight and used a bucket to get water from the river to extinguish the fire. Police were also in attendance and arson is suspected. There are no further details available for this incident.
