Two appliances from St Austell Fire Station and a Flexi Duty Officer attended this incident. The fire was caused by flammables being left on top of a cooker. The crews wore two sets of breathing apparatus and used positive pressure ventilation to clear the smoke. The fire was extinguished and a full safety inspection was carried out.
The cause was accidental and confined.
