Appliances from Falmouth and Helston and a Supervisory Officer were mobilised to a report of an explosion at a substation near Rame. Crews found that a transformer had exploded and there was a small fire. The transformer was isolated and the incident cordoned off. Western Power were also in attendance to give specialist advice.
