The Fire Service received a call to a fire in the public toilets in Fore Street St Dennis. Two appliances from St Dennis and one appliance from St Columb were mobilised along with a Wholetime Officer. On arrival crews encountered a single storey unit with a small fire inside crews used one hosereel jet along with a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Crews determined the fire to be arson and the Police were informed.

Anyone with information on fires being deliberately started are advised to anonymously call Crimestoppers free on 0800 555 111 or contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 101 with information.
