Both appliances from Bodmin were mobilised on receipt of this call as well as a wholetime officer.
On arrival there was found to be smoke issuing from a two storey mid terraced property, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and confirmed that a fire in the lounge was extinguished prior to arrival, they proceeded to use the positive pressure fan to ventilate the premises. An ambulance was requested to treat one person for the effects of smoke inhalation.
