Road Traffic Collision
North Petherwin Area, Launceston at 19/12/2016 19:12
On receipt of a call stating that a car was on fire following a collision and in a filed, both appliances from Launceston and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival a single vehicle was found to be well alight, the crew used two high pressure hosereel jets to extinguish the fire, no persons were in the vehicle or the immediate vicinity, Fire & Rescue personnel working alongside Devon & Police Officers searched the area using a thermal imaging camera, the Police helicopter also attended and used its thermal imaging camera to search a wider area, no persons were found.
