Firefighters on one appliance from Falmouth attended a call to a person trapped in their property by a warped door. Firefighters confirmed that the door had warped due to domestic flooding coming from a property above. Firefighters made the property safe by isolating the water and electricity to the building.

In the event of major flooding in the county, Cornwall Fire, Rescue and Community Safety Service work closely with other agencies to deliver a coordinated approach to the operation.
