Chimney Fire

One appliance from Tolvaddon attended this incident where the occupier was reporting a chimney fire. The crews used stirrup pump and rods to extinguish the fire and inspected the chimney to make safe.
During 2014/15 Cornwall firefighters tackled 204 chimney fires. Most chimney fires are preventable by having them swept regularly.
