Crews from Falmouth, Truro, Tolvaddon and Helston Community Fire stations are currently in attendance at a fire in a derelict public house. At this time crews are using 4 monitors to control the fire. Further information will be posted as and when it is available.
The attendance involves five fire applainces a Water Carrier from Helston, the Aerial Ladder Platform from Truro, two further specialist vehicles from Falmouth, Incident Command Unit from St Just and two Flexi Duty Officers a total 45 personnel. The initial call was received by Fire Control at 2306hrs and they then took a further 18 repeat calls to this incident.

Update @ 0310hrs: This incident is now scaling down all appliances except two pumps and the Aerial Ladder Platform are remaining on scene until 0400hrs then one relief pump will be on scene to carry on monitoring hotspots.
A Fire Investigation Officer will be attending in the daylight hours.

Update at 1300hrs: A relief pump from Falmouth and the aerial ladder platform from Truro are still on scene dealing with hotspots. A joint Fire Service and Police investigation is underway.
