on receipt of a call stating a blue barrel had been found in the area, appliances were mobilised to investigate. Crews from Hayle and Penzance along with the decontamination unit attended. A wholetime officer also attended the scene. On investigation crews identified that the barrel was a flotation device washed to the pool from Hayle Harbour.
