Firefighters from Helston and Penzance attended a property following reports of black smoke in the kitchen. On arrival crews found an end of terrace building consisting of four flats with a fire in a ground floor kitchen. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire the cause of which was accidental and confined to the kitchen.
