On receipt of this call stating that smoke alarms were sounding and a smell of smoke from a neighbours property, appliances from Fowey and Polruan were mobilised, on arrival the crew found the premises smokelogged, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property with a high pressure hosereel jet and found a fault with an oil fired appliance, crews isolated the supply and removed the appliance from the property and allowed it to ventilate naturally.
