Co-Responder Incident

St. Keverne were requested by Ambulance to attend to an elderly patient, crews monitored the male patient until the arrival of Ambulance personnel.

Firefighters from six Community Fire Stations in Cornwall help the community by not only providing fire cover but also act as a co-response resource in medical care, through partnership with South Western Ambulance Service Foundation Trust (SWASFT). The scheme has been running since 1999, serving the communities of St. Keverne, St. Ives, Mullion, St. Mawes, Helston and Polruan.
