Six firefighters from Newquay attended a call to a property whose carbon monoxide alarm had sounded twice in the past two days. On crews arrival they recorded low levels of carbon monoxide in the building. Firefighters removed embers from the wood burner in the property and ventilated the house until there was zero readings for carbon monoxide in the building.
Carbon Monoxide is potentially fatal and even low-levels of the poison can cause lasting damage to your health. You can't smell it, see it or taste it, but it could be there now.
