Firefighters from Launceston attended a property with a chimney fire. On arrival crews removed the woodburning stove from the premises, and extinguished the chimney fire using a hosereel,. A thermal image camera was used to check for hot spots in the loft of the property, and also in the roof space of the adjoining property. Crews remained on scene using a monitor to check the temperature of the chimney breast. This is all the information we have on this incident.
