Carbon Monoxide

The Fire Service received a call to Carbon Monoxide alarm sounding in a property in Halsetown. One appliance from St Ives and a wholetime Officer attended. There was a minimal reading of carbon monoxide in the property which was checked using 2 breathing apparatus and a gas detector. Crews isolated the boiler and 1 casualty was in the care of west country ambulance for precautionary checks.
