On receipt of this call stating that there was a fire, appliances from Tolvaddon and Truro were mobilised, also the aerial ladder platform from Truro. On arrival the crews found a machinery fire within a large industrial building and the area was heavily smokelogged, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed at the scene with a high pressure hosereel jet and fire extinguishers to extinguish the fire, once the fire was extinguished the crews undertook natural ventilation of the premises to remove the smoke. Crews were detained for some time monitoring the situation.
