Coastal Path half a mile from Porthleven at 11/03/2017 11:55

The Critical Control Centre received a call from the owner of a terrier who had chased a rabbit into an adit on the coast path and could not get out. Control mobilised crews from Helston and Tolvaddon and two Flexi Duty Officers.

On arrival the dog was approximately two meters below the surface in a rabbit warren thickly covered by bramble. The crew were able to retrieve the dog manually and return him safely to his owner.
