Two fire appliances from St Austell Community Fire Station and a supervisory officer attended a fire in a block of garages. On arrival crews found smoke issuing from the garages. Firefighters used compressed air breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to tackle the fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots to ensure the fire did not spread.
