Firefighters from Looe and Liskeard were mobilised following reports of smoke seen coming from a derelict building. On arrival crews found a building measuring 8 meters by 8 meters with a fire in the ground floor hallway. A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire, the cause of which is arson. The Police have been updated. This is all the information we have on this incident.

Arson does not only threaten lives and damage property it has a detrimental effect on communities and the lives of people within them.
