At 04:48 this morning one appliance from Hayle and two from St Ives were mobilised to a reported fire in an industrial building in St Erth. The building measured 40 x 30 metres and crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one safety jet and two thermal imaging camera were used at the incident. Once the fire had been confirmed as out the building was ventilated using two positive pressure ventilation fans and two breathing apparatus. At 0900 a fire investigation was carried out by the Fire and Rescue service. There are no more details available on this incident.
