Both appliances from Saltash were alerted to attend this incident. On arrival crews found that the roof of a dormer bungalow was well alight. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were deployed they used CO2 cylinders and hosereels to extinguish the fire. Crews were delayed for some considerable time. One person was treated by ambulance personnel for the effects of smoke inhilation.
