On receipt of this initial call an appliance and the rescue tender from Camborne were mobilised. On arrival further resources were requested and an appliance from Camborne and Redruth also attended. The incident involved three vehicles, with three persons trapped, unfortunately one person was declared deceased at the scene, crews were engaged using crash rescue equipment to remove the casualties and passed into the care of the ambulance service. Crews were delayed for some time. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
