Two fire appliances from Truro Community Fire Station are in attendance at a fire inside an office in a single storey building, measuring 7 metres by 20 metres. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using one hosereel to extinguish the fire. A fire hydrant is in use on the main road that may affect traffic. Drivers are advised to approach the area with care.
Update 1505hrs: The hydrant is no longer in use. The fire is being dampened down by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.
Update 1515hrs: The fire is now out and firefighters are using a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
