On receipt of this call stating that an LPG tank was leaking on a garage forecourt, one appliance from Hayle and a Wholetime Officer were mobilised.
On arrival at the scene there was found to be a leak from a pressure relief valve, firefighters are wearing breathing apparatus at the scene and there is a water spray in use to cover the area.
Devon & Cornwall Police are in attendance and the old A30 from Loggans to Connor Downs has been closed.

Motorists should be aware of traffic congestion at the Loggans Mill roundabout on the main A30, and approach with caution.

Update 1430 hours: An engineer is en route at this time.

Update 1700 hours: The leak has now been isolated. Devon & Cornwall Police are now in the process of reopening the road.
