Chimney Fire

Firefighters from Helston were mobilised following a 999 call reporting a chimney fire in Mawgan. On arrival crews used a stirrup pump and rods to try and extinguish the fire. A second crew were requested from Mullion to assist extinguishing the chimney from the roof. A triple extension ladder and safety at height and confined space equipment was used to extinguish the fire from the roof. This is all the information we have on this incident.
