On receipt of this call, one appliance from Padstow was mobilised, on arrival the crew found a van well alight and also a running fuel fire, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two high pressure hosereel jets to extinguish the fires, crews were delayed for some time. Cornwall Highways were requested to attend due to damage to the road.
