At 23:35 several calls were received to a wooden chalet on fire on Military road, Freathy near Torpoint. Two appliances from Torpoint were mobilised to scene. On the arrival of the Torpoint crews immediately requested assistance with a 'make pumps three' request. Additional appliances from Looe and Liskeard were mobilised to the scene. The wooden chalet measured circa 15 x 10 metres. Initially crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel. On the arrival of additional Fire resources crews had three teams of breathing apparatus in use with one hose reel and two main jets. Western Power have been requested to attend the scene to isolate the power supply to the building. The road is currently closed at this location and Police are attending to assist with traffic control. Details updated at 01:20 08/05/17
