On receipt of this call, two fire appliances from Newquay and whole time officer were mobilised.

Upon arrival a "Make Pumps 3" request was received and Critical Control mobilised an additional fire appliance from Perranporth. Shortly after this a further request for an Arial Ladder Platform (ALP) was made and Newquay's appliance was mobilised.

A total of 4 Breathing Apparatus, 1 Main Jet, 1 Covering Jet and the ALP have been used to extinguish the fire.

Western Power are also requested to isolate the electricity supply to the building

Update 05:19 - Crews from Perranporth are returning to home station. ALP still in use

Update 05:37 - 2 BA wearers have been committed to extinguish hot spots

Update: 1037hrs The fire was extinguished at approximately 0600hrs and a Fire Investigation team are now on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
