On the initial call received for this incident stating that the garage was on fire, appliances from Delabole were mobilised, as well as a wholetime officer, while en route a further appliance from Wadebridge was mobilised, on arrival crews required more assistance and appliances from Padstow and Bodmin were mobilised, as well as the Operational Support Vehicle from St. Austell and the Incident Command Unit from Launceston, the water carrier from Wadebridge also attended.
The crews on arrival found five vehciles including a heavy goods vehicle alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high pressure hosereel jets and also a main jet to extinguish the fire. The cause was accidental.
