The Fire and Rescue Service received a call from a property in Porthleven which had smoke in the property which was being caused by a electrical fire in the Rayburn. One appliance from Helston and one appliance from Tolvaddon were mobilised to the incident. A Wholetime Officer was also sent.

On arrival the crews found a detached 2 storey property smoked logged using to 2 breathing apparatus and one hosereel jet, they extinguished the fire and isolated the main electrics and oil . Crews also ventilated the property and fitted two smoke detectors being leaving.
