On receipt of this call one appliance from St. Austell and the line rescue vehicle plus a supporting appliance from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival at the incident there was found to be a calf stuck in a ditch, crews used ladders, pulleys and strops to successfully retrieve the calf, who was then returned to a nearby field to graze.
