On receipt of this call one appliance from Callington was mobilised and a request made for an appliance from Tavistock to assist, on arrival the crew found a fire involving a round baler was extinguished but had spread to involve approximately 200 by 100 metres of grass which was alight, the crews extinguished the fire using two high pressure hosereel and beaters.
