On receipt of this call stating that a bull was stuck in a mine shaft, appliances from Helston were mobilised as well as the line rescue appliance and a support appliance from Tolvaddon along with two Wholetime Officers, on arrival the bull was found to be approximately nine metres down in a shaft, crews are clearing the area to get better access before setting up line rescue equipment.

Update 1230 hours: The bull has now successfully been recovered from the shaft using animal rescue equipment. Crews are making up equipment and returning to their home stations.
