Standing Crop Fire

On receipt of this call appliances from Delabole and Bodmin were mobilised.
Whilst mobile to this incident an additional call was received giving information that there was a gas powered bird scarer located in the middle of the field.
Upon arrival crews found approximately 20m squared of crops well alight.
A light 4x4 pump from Delabole was used to assess the area and then beaters were used to extinguish the fire.
