Both appliances from St. Austell were mobilised to this incident, on arrival the crew found a large semi derelict building with smoke issuing rom it, a further appliance was requested and an appliance from Mevagissey attended. The building measuring forty two by twenty five metres, was entered by teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using high pressure hosereel jets, to extinguish the fire, crews proceeded to search the whole building before declaring the scene safe. Western Power attended to ensure isolation of supplies at the scene.
