An appliance from Bude attended a call to flooding inside a shop at 1014 this morning following the heavy rainfall. Firefighters assisted staff to remove the water from the store and cleared the blocked drain, preventing further flooding.
On leaving the incident the firefighters came across a male having breathing difficulties and assisted the store first aid worker to monitor and give oxygen until an Ambulance arrived. The male was left in their care.
