Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service were called to a tumble dryer smoking in a property in Pengersick Lane, Praa Sands. One appliance from Penzance and one from Helston including a Wholetime Officer were mobilised. On arrival crews dealt with a fire in single storey domestic property located in the kitchen, crews extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus 1 hosereel 1 CO2 extinguisher a safety jet and a thermal imaging camera - the fire was accidental and confined.
