Barn Fire

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service were called to a barn on fire in the Newmill area of Penzance. Two appliances from Penzance and two from St Ives including a water carrier from Helston and the incident command unit from St Just attended, three wholetime officers also attended. The crews dealt with an agricultural barn of 20fett by 60feet well alight containing tractors and propane gas the crews used 2 hosereels 1 main jet 2 breathing apparatus, hydrant to extinguish the fire. The fire was deemed accidental and confined.
