An emergency 999 call was received from a property where the occupants had been awoken to the smoke alarm sounding and had discovered smoke in the premises. Two appliances from Falmouth along with a wholetime officer were mobilised to the address. The first attending crew reported a small fire in a cooker that had been extinguished prior to their arrival. The crew made the scene safe. The cause was accidental and confined.
