On receipt of this call appliances from Helston and Tolvaddon were mobilised, on arrival there was found to be a fire in the cooker of a flat, crews used a hosereel and thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire, an ambulance was requested to treat one person for the effects of smoke inhalation, crews administered oxygen until the arrival of the ambulance service.
