Large Unattended Bonfire

Six firefighters on one appliance from Hayle attended a call to smoke seen in the distance, the smoke was affecting traffic on a near by road. Firefighters investigated the area of Fraddam road and found a large unattended bonfire measuring 10 x 10 metres. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire to prevent it from spreading and to stop the smoke affecting the road.
