A total of sixteen firefighters on appliances from Greenbank, Plymouth, Saltash and Liskeard attended a call to a property which was full of smoke and the occupant reported crackling noises. The first informative from scene confirmed that there was a fire in a kitchen and requested three fire appliances to attend. On arrival crews used rapid deployment to tackle the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel. At 02:18 the fire was believed to be out, crews were using four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets. Crews damped down the fire and ventilated the property. Ambulance was requested to attend to treat one casualty suffering from smoke inhalation. There are no more details available on this incident.
