Both appliances from Launceston and a Whole-time Officer were mobilised to this incident, on arrival the crews found a fire in the bathroom of a two storey property, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a high pressure hose reel jet, the positive pressure ventilation fan was used clear smoke from the premises. An ambulance was requested to treat one person for the effects of smoke inhalation.
