Road Traffic Collision - Person Trapped
A30, near Boxheater Junction, between Carland Cross and Chiverton Cross at 22/09/2017 22:04
One fire appliance from Perranporth, one fire appliance from Newquay and the rescue tender from Tolvaddon are in attendance at a road traffic collision with a person trapped. Ambulance and Police are also on scene. Firefighters are using crash rescue equipment to cut free the casualty. The road is currently blocked and diversions are being put into place.
Update 2300hrs: Firefighters have assisted paramedics by cutting the casualty free and lifting them from the car. The casualty has been left in care of the paramedics. Firefighters are making the scene safe and will be leaving shortly.
It is believed the road will be closed for some time.
