One fire appliance from St Mawes and one fire appliance from Mevagissey attended a fire involving the chimney of a woodburner. Firefighters removed the woodburner and extinguished the fire in the chimney by 2125hrs. Two occupants were suffering the effects of smoke inhalation and firefighters administered oxygen until the arrival of an ambulance.
