All appliances from St. Ives were mobilised on receipt of this call. On arrival there was found to be smoke issuing from the building, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed at the scene, they used a dry powder extinguisher and hosereel to extinguish the fire. An ambulance was requested for two casualties suffering from the effects of smoke inhilation. The building was heavily smokelogged and the Positive Pressure Fan was used to ventilate the property.
