Five firefighters on one appliance from Tolvaddon attended a call to a reported fire coming from under a manhole. The caller reported seeing a large flash a big bang and smoke coming from the pit. Crews on scene investigated the manhole and confirmed an arching electrical cable underneath had caused an explosion. Firefighters made the scene safe and remained in attendance until the arrival of Electrical engineers.
