Fire appliances from Falmouth and Truro are in attendance at a report of a fire onboard the Ro-Ro Ferry Commodore Clipper in the docks at Falmouth. The fire is believed to have been extinguished and fire crews are working with the ships staff to confirm that there has been no fire spread.

Update 1120hrs: Fire crews have carried out an investigation and determined that there has been no fire and that the alarm was raised due to welding fumes. All crews are now leaving the scene.
