Fourteen firefighters from Bude and Holsworthy attended a call to a vehicle which had caught alight in a farm building. On the arrival of firefighters it was confirmed that the vehicle was well alight but had been removed from the farm building. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the car fire. Crews also used a thermal imaging camera inside the shed to monitor the building with a thermal imaging camera. One casualty suffering smoke inhalation was also treated on scene by firefighters using oxygen.
